Ria Sairaa who played the role of Lal's daughter in Joy Mathew's Shutter is getting acclauds for her character in the critically acclaimed film.
Ria Sairaa told,"I didn't know my character had such prominence in the film. It was only after I saw its reception at the IFFK that I realised that this film belonged to the big league." She said, the film examines the nature of true friendship towards the end, and this was something which appealed to her.
She told to the source that she has been recognising by people after box office success of Shutter, even though she earlier acted in 22 Female Kottayam, Chapters and Theevram. About her new movies she said,"Right now, my semester exams are going on and I don't want to be disturbed; I give equal importance to academics. As soon as my exams are over, I would start reading scripts."
About the characters and their length she said,"The length of my character doesn't matter. All I want is to be part of good films, or at least ensure that it is a character oriented role."
