Two shades in Anjaan

Recently Tamil Super star Suriya was seen in a rugged look with straightened hair ans a beard for sometime. The actor is seen at the premiere of Santosh Sivan's Inam in Mumbai with the a look. Lingusamy designed two different shades for Suriya in the film.

As per the sources,"Suriya's portions for Anjaan are not yet over. He has shot for a major portion in Mumbai with a beard. Now, in the middle of the shoot, the actor is back to his regular style. So, this could be his look for the other role in the film."

Are Rahman or Harris or others insulting Art?

Are top music directors giving tunes for small budget movies? Mostly the answer will be 'NO'. The same question was posed by a National Award-winning director Seenuramasamy.

He said,"MSV used to work on MGR's films, but at the same time, he also used to compose for small-budget films. Ilaiyaraaja, too, did the same."

He even ruened that AR Rahman or Harris Jayaraj or any other top music director is not ready to accept small budget movies as their renumeration or salary will be equal to the budget of the movie. He asked,"When a big-name music director composes for a small film, it gets noticed by the audience,who will consider watching it. But are today's music directors like that."

He also added,"Today, small-budget films give importance to the script, and it's in these films that you can have good music.I see this habit of not taking up a project because of its budget as being dishonest to art."

Atleast from now we hope top music maestos tune even for small budget movies in a respect of Art.

Ulaganayagan hopes for peace..

It is exactly One year to Feb-7th when the most acclaimed Indian actor Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan faced so many hurdles to release self penned,acted and co-produced movie Vishwaroopam. The whole Tamilnadu along with the Govt opposed the release of Vishwarropam and created number of obstacles for his career. By overcoming all those obstacles Mr Kamal Haasan finally released his out-standing movie Vishwaroopam and geared huge response for this spy thriller movie.

He recalled those moments and he hopes for the peace release of Vishwaroopam 2 soon. The movie will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose are other lead roles in the movie.

Baahubali crossed Ra and Krishh3

Rajamouli's film Baahubali already crossed Bollywood Ra and Krishh3 in visual effects.Baahubali is going to create a benchmark in visual effects in Indian cinema with 4,500 VFX shots.This count surpassed likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan' Ra and Krishh3 respectively.

Producer Shobha Yarlagadda revealed that the movie is going t be a technical marvel and "We want to offer the audience a real visual spectacle and have been working in that direction from the outset. It's a period drama that will transport the audience into a world of ancient forts, palaces, epic war sequences and the works. The VFX is going to be the most crucial element in the movie. We have the best national and international experts working on the film."

The movie has internationally renowned VFX artistes and Srinivas Mohan is working as the VFX supervisor. Visual effects of Baahubali are being done in local as well as outsouring to foreign techncians around the World.Based on the quality of VFX work, it seems that the budget of the movie might cross 100 crore which creates another benchmark in Indian cinema for being highest budget VFX cinema as Baahubali. Though the producer of Baahubali not yet revelead about the budget it will be an expensive as he said,"I cannot comment on that since I don't know about the budgets of other films. It is a very expensive film."

The film will be released in 2015 across all South Indian languages.Prabhas,Rana,Anushka and Tamannaah are playing lead roles in this periodic movie.

I had just taken two days off for New Year's Eve and since then, I have been working non-stop. I wouldn't want it any other way." Shruti Haasan is against 'Dawood'

South Indian actress Shruthi Haasan who played a pivote role in D-Day with Arjun Rampal is now against to the producers od D-Day.Shruti played as Karachi based call girl in the movie and had some intimate scenes with Arjun Rampal.

Coming to the issue is, the makers of the movie have planned to release the critically acclaimed D-Day into Tamil as Dawood while the actress objected to the dubbing.

She has given some statements to the media like, "I am grateful for your kind support always. This is to inform you all that I am dis associating myself from the release of D-Day in Tamil called Dawood as it is being done without my consent or approval and is a clear breach of contract."

"In fact, we will be taking a legal action on this issue. As soon as the paperwork is done, I will release the details to the press for further clarification," she added and ended by saying thanks to the media support."Once again, I sincerely appreciate the perennial support I have received from my media friends through out my professional endeavors."

It seems that Shruti Haasan is going to dissociating from Tamil version of Dawood. The actress along with Nikhil Advani who co-produced the movie with Dar Motion Pictures.

Both revealed that the producers sold out the rights of the Dawood without their knowledge and they made some statements saying they are going to proceed legally on producers.

Nikhil said, "I am shocked and disappointed to learn about the irresponsible way my film D-Day is being released in Tamil. We have not been consulted by the exploitation rights holders on making alterations to the marketing material. And the Tamil version of the film being titled Dawood is mischievous and misleading. We are examining the matter and may be forced to act legally."

Shruthi, the south Indian actress mentioned that, "I'm dissociating myself from the Tamil version of D-Day as it is being done without my consent and this is a clear breach of contract. In fact, we will be taking legal action on this issue."

AR Rahman composing for TV show

It is first time the Academy Award winner A R Rahman who gonna compose music for a show for a leading TV channel. Though the official announcement was made by neither channel not Music maestro it is known that A R Rahman scoring music for the show which is a Ashutosh Gowariker' venture directed by Glenn and Ankush. The TV show will be a fiction one as per the sources.

As per the sources belonging to director Mani Ratnam, "Mani Ratnam has almost completed the scripting process and has approached Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna. He wants to finalize his leading lady as well so that the shoot can begin soon. His team has gotten in touch with Aishwarya Rai, with whom he has worked in Iruvar and Raavanan before."

If everything goes well, Aishwarya Rai Bachan will start her second innings with Mani Ratnam's new project. And on the other hand she was supposed to perform caemo role in Sanjay Leela Bansali's Goliyon Ki Rasleela RamLeela.

Ilayathalapathy wish to work with Chimbudevan

It seems that Ilayathalapathy already decided his next script after completion of his yet to start upcoming movie with successful director AR Murugadoss. Recently the director Chimbudevan met the actor Vijay and narrated the script.

As per the source, When Chimbu narrated his story, Vijay liked it a lot. He approved it and asked the director to work on it. This movie is gonna produced by the Director PT Selvakumar and Kerala-based distributor Shibu on a joint venture.

Many filmmakers narrated scripts for Ilayathalapathy but the actor shown interest for Chimbudevan's script as it seems to be a new genre that the actor has not yet tried so far. His new project with AR Murugadoss will be started in February.

Title conflict for Deekay's movie

Kreshna and Roopa Manjari in Yamirukka Bayamen

Kreshna and Roopa Manjari starring movie title was changed from Illa Aanalum Irukku to Yamirukka Bayamen. The comedy thriller movie is directed by Deekay with Kreshna and Roopa Manjari in the lead along with Oviya and produced by Elred Kumar.

The movie producer announced title change for the movie. He said, "There was another film titled on similar lines (Irukku Aana Illa), and the team members and distributors felt that it would create confusion among the audience. So, we changed the title to Yaamirukka Bayamey, which means 'feel the fear because I'm there'. The popular line that reassures us of the presence of Almighty is 'yaamirukka bayamen', and our film's title will be the devil's version of it.  "

He also announced the tentative launch of the Yaamirukka Bayamen audio will be in the first week of February.
