It is exactly One year to Feb-7th when the most acclaimed Indian actor Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan faced so many hurdles to release self penned,acted and co-produced movie Vishwaroopam. The whole Tamilnadu along with the Govt opposed the release of Vishwarropam and created number of obstacles for his career. By overcoming all those obstacles Mr Kamal Haasan finally released his out-standing movie Vishwaroopam and geared huge response for this spy thriller movie.

He recalled those moments and he hopes for the peace release of Vishwaroopam 2 soon. The movie will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose are other lead roles in the movie.

Baahubali crossed Ra and Krishh3

Rajamouli's film Baahubali already crossed Bollywood Ra and Krishh3 in visual effects.Baahubali is going to create a benchmark in visual effects in Indian cinema with 4,500 VFX shots.This count surpassed likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan' Ra and Krishh3 respectively.

Producer Shobha Yarlagadda revealed that the movie is going t be a technical marvel and "We want to offer the audience a real visual spectacle and have been working in that direction from the outset. It's a period drama that will transport the audience into a world of ancient forts, palaces, epic war sequences and the works. The VFX is going to be the most crucial element in the movie. We have the best national and international experts working on the film."

The movie has internationally renowned VFX artistes and Srinivas Mohan is working as the VFX supervisor. Visual effects of Baahubali are being done in local as well as outsouring to foreign techncians around the World.Based on the quality of VFX work, it seems that the budget of the movie might cross 100 crore which creates another benchmark in Indian cinema for being highest budget VFX cinema as Baahubali. Though the producer of Baahubali not yet revelead about the budget it will be an expensive as he said,"I cannot comment on that since I don't know about the budgets of other films. It is a very expensive film."

The film will be released in 2015 across all South Indian languages.Prabhas,Rana,Anushka and Tamannaah are playing lead roles in this periodic movie.

No dates even for Dad

The south Indian actress who have couple of offers in hand after enjoying block buster hits like GabbarSingh and Yevadu seems that she is too busy to give dates for her father who is an International Super Star.
Confused,let us unveil the buzz,the International Super Star is non other than Mr Kamal Haasan and actress is his daughter Shruti Haasan.

Coming to the news,the actress is very busy with Gabbar and Welcome Back two Hindi films along with yet to release Telugu Race Gurram and untitled Tamil film.Recently when Kamal Haasan met her she said no dates in diary for him."My dad has been looking forward to work with me and met me recently. But I did not have the dates... can you beat that!" says Shruti.

She also added, "Right now, my life is all about moving from one vanity van to the other. I have no life of my own actually. I had just taken two days off for New Year's Eve and since then, I have been working non-stop. I wouldn't want it any other way." "Even if Ryan Gosling were to ask me out, I'd have to check with my directors."

Shanvi Srivastava, who was last seen in Adda, has been roped in to play one of the lead roles in RGV's next Telugu film titled Rowdy. The film also stars Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu in lead roles. The shooting has already begun and Shanvi joined the team in Hyderabad earlier this week.

Shanvi said, "I was quite surprised when I got a call from the production house and it didn't take me long to accept the offer. On a serious note, who doesn't want to work with RGV, at least once in their career?"

She also added, "There's no story as such. He offered me the role right after our first meeting. Although it's not such a big role, I'm eagerly looking forward to learn a lot from him and I'm quite lucky to get a chance to work with actors like Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu."

Shanvi is eagerly waiting for the movie to copmplete as she is playing serious role in this movie with three cameras around. She told,"This is the fourth Telugu film and I have never been so tense in my life. Shooting in sync sound and a three camera set up is no easy task. Besides, it's the most serious role I've played so far in my career. I am not supposed to smile at all, which is so unlike me in real life."

The entire film is expected to be warpped in 30 working days.

Shruti Haasan is against 'Dawood'

South Indian actress Shruthi Haasan who played a pivote role in D-Day with Arjun Rampal is now against to the producers od D-Day.Shruti played as Karachi based call girl in the movie and had some intimate scenes with Arjun Rampal.

Coming to the issue is, the makers of the movie have planned to release the critically acclaimed D-Day into Tamil as Dawood while the actress objected to the dubbing.

She has given some statements to the media like, "I am grateful for your kind support always. This is to inform you all that I am dis associating myself from the release of D-Day in Tamil called Dawood as it is being done without my consent or approval and is a clear breach of contract."

"In fact, we will be taking a legal action on this issue. As soon as the paperwork is done, I will release the details to the press for further clarification," she added and ended by saying thanks to the media support."Once again, I sincerely appreciate the perennial support I have received from my media friends through out my professional endeavors."

It seems that Shruti Haasan is going to dissociating from Tamil version of Dawood. The actress along with Nikhil Advani who co-produced the movie with Dar Motion Pictures.

Both revealed that the producers sold out the rights of the Dawood without their knowledge and they made some statements saying they are going to proceed legally on producers.

Nikhil said, "I am shocked and disappointed to learn about the irresponsible way my film D-Day is being released in Tamil. We have not been consulted by the exploitation rights holders on making alterations to the marketing material. And the Tamil version of the film being titled Dawood is mischievous and misleading. We are examining the matter and may be forced to act legally."

Shruthi, the south Indian actress mentioned that, "I'm dissociating myself from the Tamil version of D-Day as it is being done without my consent and this is a clear breach of contract. In fact, we will be taking legal action on this issue."

It is first time the Academy Award winner A R Rahman who gonna compose music for a show for a leading TV channel. Though the official announcement was made by neither channel not Music maestro it is known that A R Rahman scoring music for the show which is a Ashutosh Gowariker' venture directed by Glenn and Ankush. Tollywood recollecting memories with Akkineni Nageswara Rao

Tollywood industry actors and technicians are recollecting their memories with the legendary acor Akkineni Nageswara rao, the one who changed Telugu cinema.

CHIRANJEEVI
My mom was due for delivery when one of ANR's films (Jeevitham) released. She is such a huge fan that despite her pregnancy, she wanted to watch the film. But my dad had his apprehensions, since she was due for delivery in the next few days. In the end, she had her way and started from the house to see the film in Palakollu. En route, however, she met with an accident. When my dad asked her to visit the hospital, she flatly refused and went ahead and saw the film! I was born two days after the incident.

KRISHNA
Films have held my fascination since childhood, and it was the Telugu cinema doyen who inspired me to join the industry. When ANR had completed 60 films, he was being felicitated across the state, and my college was one of the institutions which honoured him. When he entered my college campus, I was stunned to see the crowd that was gathered, just to get a glimpse of the actor! I got to watch him from close quarters and saw the fame an actor would get. That triggered the desire in me to make a career in films. When I heard that the makers of Tene Manasulu were looking for fresh talent, I wasted no time in applying for it. ANR was instrumental in choosing me for my debut film.

RAMANAIDU
It's a great loss to the industry,and since he's also a part of our family, it is personally a huge loss. It's shocking because when I met him recently, he was doing well. He was a man of discipline and would never come late, be it on the sets of movies or marriage. Making a film with ANR was the easiest thing for me, since he hardly gave me any trouble.

Telugu cinema had two eyes — NTR and ANR. ANR and I go back a long way in the film industry. I'm the only person who's had the honour of working with him in more than 25 films! He was the man instrumental in bringing the Telugu film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad and was one of the few personalities who dedicated his life to movies. As long as there's Telugu cinema, he'll be remembered...

The Legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao ( ANR), who is suffering from cancer, passed away on Wednesday. He died in the early hours in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He was 91 and the winner of Dada Saheb Phalke Award. The actor had three daughters and two sons.

The 91year-old ANR started his acting career with sitarama Jananam, a Telugu Film in 1944. He acted over in 250 Telugu movies other than working in Tamil movies.

He was followed by his son Akkineni Nagarjuna, daughter-in-law Amala and grandsons in their acting career. He established Annapurna studios. He also honoured with India's second most civilian award Padma Vibhusan and Padma Shri even.

Currently The actor was acting in their family dream project MANAM with his son Akkineni Nagarjuna and grandson Akkineni Naga Chaitanya.

NTR National film award for Big-B

Bollywood Big-B Amitabh Bachchan received NTR National Film award 2011 from AP Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Big-B was the star attraction at the NAndi Awards - 2011 ceremony organised by AP State Film, TV and Theatre Development at Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam on Thursday.

"I feel honoured to receive this award, which carries the name of N.T. Rama Rao, a great man with whom I worked a lot. We used to share several thoughts and discuss about films and had great time. Films are a great integrator and I wish cinema grows even further to unify the country," said Amitabh.

The NTR National Film Award comes with a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh.

Baadshah's first week collections

As per the inner sources, the first week world wide collections(share) of Baadshah were 35+ crores and the official figures yet to be disclosed.

This figure set a new record in the actor's career and as well as at the Tollywood Box-Office.

As per the Trade reports, the movie ranked more than 9 crores in Nizam area and has collected around 30 crores in India.

On the other hand, Jr NTR's action entertainer collected approximately $ 1,082,536 (Rs 5.90cr) in the first week.
