Rajamouli's film Baahubali already crossed Bollywood Ra and Krishh3 in visual effects.Baahubali is going to create a benchmark in visual effects in Indian cinema with 4,500 VFX shots.This count surpassed likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan' Ra and Krishh3 respectively.
Producer Shobha Yarlagadda revealed that the movie is going t be a technical marvel and "We want to offer the audience a real visual spectacle and have been working in that direction from the outset. It's a period drama that will transport the audience into a world of ancient forts, palaces, epic war sequences and the works. The VFX is going to be the most crucial element in the movie. We have the best national and international experts working on the film."
The movie has internationally renowned VFX artistes and Srinivas Mohan is working as the VFX supervisor. Visual effects of Baahubali are being done in local as well as outsouring to foreign techncians around the World.Based on the quality of VFX work, it seems that the budget of the movie might cross 100 crore which creates another benchmark in Indian cinema for being highest budget VFX cinema as Baahubali. Though the producer of Baahubali not yet revelead about the budget it will be an expensive as he said,"I cannot comment on that since I don't know about the budgets of other films. It is a very expensive film."
The film will be released in 2015 across all South Indian languages.Prabhas,Rana,Anushka and Tamannaah are playing lead roles in this periodic movie.
