The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the BJP seeking its support for Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill 2013 to be passed in the ongoing session of the Parliament.
The TITA appreciated that the BJP has consistently maintained their support for the formation of the new state of Telangana and requested to stand on their word by voting in favor of Telangana Bill in the parliament. Adhering to the party’s categorical decision, the TITA requested the BJP leaders to support Telangana bill which will carve out separate Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh.
“TITA concedes that there may be an impact on IT Industry and subsequent business areas if the formation of Telangana State is further delayed. Many Fortune 100 Fortune 500 Fortune 1000 companies, MNC’s, SME’s & Investors may relinquish their on-going and proposed business plans in & around Hyderabad because of ‘dither’ and ‘wait and see’ behavior of responsible state and central governments.” said Sundeep Kumar Makthala
“We demand all the BJP leaders in both the houses to support ‘Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill 2013’ which forms Telangana State with 10 districts and Hyderabad as its capital. TITA has urged all Telangana leaders to exert pressure on the Centre until the ‘Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill 2013’ is passed in parliament.” said Makthala.
BJP State President G Kishan Reddy has positively responded to the memorandum submitted to the party by the TITA. He said that he would be going to Delhi to support Telangana Bill and he expressed confidence that the Telangana will come into existence before 2014 elections.
